To prepare for this moment, I work with a couple in planning the best time to capture this exciting event. I have even worked with the gentleman proposing and set up a situation that I was able to photograph the proposal from a distance in an effort to best capture the emotions as they unfolded. I then have done a more formal shoot once the soon to be bride was aware of our plan and really got some great posed shots! This is a great way to start the marriage process!

My style is "on location", meaning that I bring the studio to you and the location of your choice. Additional travel expenses may apply for locations more than 5 miles outside the San Diego area. I offer great mobile for clients who wish to have their special moments captured while having a memorable time. My equipment is completely portable and easy to setup. I come to where you are and provide engagement photography on-location while taking great pride in both my portable studio and environmental photography. I aim to make fun photos in comfortable stress-free environments, such as your own home or an outdoor scenic location.

Engagement sessions are generally considered to be emphasize the unique personality of the couple and really capture the emotion in the moment. It is the Professional Photographer's job to bring this out in an artistic manner and it is always best to choose a photographer that is flexible and who's priorities are aligned with your priorities.

It's enough pressure on the poor guy to propose and let alone worry about the details of what the photographer should focus on. Also, not everyone can relax in front of a camera. That's where I come in as I strive provide a fun environment that helps alleviate any anxiety you may have and let the real "you" come out in your special images.
